Yu-Chu Expressway is the Yuxi-Chuxiong section of the G8012 highway from Maitreya to Chuxiong Expressway, with a total length of 190.597 kilometers. The main line is constructed using expressway standards and the design speed is 100 kilometers per hour. The project has the characteristics of many connecting lines, complicated geological conditions, and high bridge-tunnel ratio. After completion, it will open up a fast track from Yuxi to Chuxiong, realize the interconnection between Yuchu and the surrounding cities and counties of Chuxiong, which will play an important role in promoting the economic construction of central Yunnan.
